Custom Firearms provides firearm transfer and related services in compliance with all applicable laws. Due to the nature of these services, the following refund policy applies.
Transfer Fees
All firearm transfer fees are non-refundable once services have begun.
Services are considered initiated when:
A firearm is received at our FFL location
Paperwork has been started
A background check has been initiated
Background Check Outcomes
Transfer fees are non-refundable if:
A background check is denied
A background check is delayed
The customer is unable to complete the transfer
Customers are responsible for ensuring they meet all legal requirements before initiating a transfer.
Firearm Purchases
Custom Firearms does not control or process firearm sales from third-party retailers.
All purchases are made directly through the seller
Returns, refunds, or exchanges must be handled with the original seller
Custom Firearms is not responsible for product issues, defects, or order errors
Shipping & Order Issues
If there is an issue with a shipment:
Customers must contact the seller to resolve the issue
We will assist with coordination when possible
Transfer fees may still apply depending on the situation
Appointment Cancellations
Custom Firearms operates by appointment only.
Please provide notice if you need to reschedule
Missed appointments or late cancellations may affect future scheduling
Fees may apply if services have already been initiated
NFA Services (Future)
For NFA items (such as suppressors), once available:
All processing and transfer fees will be non-refundable once paperwork has been submitted
Approval timelines are determined by regulatory agencies and are outside our control
Exceptions
Refunds may be granted only at the sole discretion of Custom Firearms in rare or exceptional circumstances.
