Custom Firearms provides firearm transfer services as a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder. We do not directly ship firearms for retail sale but receive shipments from licensed dealers and facilitate legal transfers to customers.
Firearm Shipping Requirements
All firearms must be shipped in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
Firearms must be shipped only from a licensed dealer (FFL), where required
Firearms must be shipped directly to a valid FFL (Custom Firearms)
Firearms cannot be shipped directly to individuals
Customers must select Custom Firearms as their receiving FFL when purchasing from an online retailer or third-party seller.
Shipment Process
Purchase firearm from a licensed retailer or seller
Select Custom Firearms as the receiving FFL
Seller ships firearm to our licensed premises
We notify you once the firearm arrives
Schedule your appointment to complete the transfer
Required Documentation
To accept a firearm shipment, we may require:
A copy of the sender’s FFL (if applicable)
Customer contact information included with the shipment
Order or reference details to identify the firearm
Failure to include proper documentation may delay processing.
State & Local Restrictions
Firearm laws vary by state and locality.
Certain firearms, magazines, or features may be restricted or prohibited depending on your location
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the firearm being purchased is legal in their state or jurisdiction
Custom Firearms reserves the right to refuse transfers that do not comply with applicable laws
Shipping Delays
Custom Firearms is not responsible for delays caused by:
Shipping carriers
Seller processing times
Weather or external factors
Regulatory or compliance issues
We will notify you promptly once your firearm has been received.
Damaged or Incorrect Shipments
If a firearm arrives damaged or incorrect:
Notify us immediately upon inspection
The issue must be resolved with the seller or shipping carrier
Custom Firearms will assist with coordination when possible
Refused or Non-Compliant Shipments
Custom Firearms reserves the right to:
Refuse shipments that do not meet legal or documentation requirements
Return non-compliant firearms to the sender
Charge applicable handling or return fees if necessary
NFA Items (Future Services)
For NFA-regulated items (such as suppressors), once available:
All shipments must comply with ATF regulations
Transfers will require additional documentation and approval processes
Customers will be guided through all required steps
